Ajahn Sona is abbot of Birken Forest Monastery in the interior of British Columbia. Ordained under Bhante Gunaratana in 1990 and trained in the Ajahn Chah lineage, he is known for an unusually clear, science-literate exposition of jhāna meditation and for his accessible YouTube teaching channel.
