Ajahn Pasanno is co-founder and former abbot of Abhayagiri Monastery in California, the principal Western Forest community in North America. Ordained in Thailand in 1974 and a longtime senior disciple of Ajahn Chah, he is widely regarded as one of the most reliable living transmitters of the Forest tradition's practical pedagogy. His Recollections of Ajahn Chah is irreplaceable first-person testimony.
