The complete journey. Sixty to ninety days across Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Myanmar, Bhutan, Tibet (when access permits), Japan, and Korea. Custom-curated, by invitation only. A senior monastic accompanies your cohort for the whole journey. You meet teachers most foreigners never meet. You sleep in monasteries most foreigners never enter. The itinerary is yours to shape — the route is yours to choose — within the architecture of the dharma's actual geography. Day 48 of 75 — arrival in Bhutan after the Indian segment. Helicopter to Paro. Two-hour ascent to Tiger's Nest with three senior Bhutanese monastics. Lunch at the cave hermitage with Khenpo Phakchok of the Ka-Nying lineage — a meeting most pilgrims do not get. Afternoon: descent, then transfer to Punakha Dzong. Evening: private discourse with the dzong's abbot. Sleep at the Aman Punakha, in the wing reserved for the cohort.
