About

Why this.
Why now.
Why Lumbini.

The canonical digital home for the Buddha-dharma — sacred cinema, the pilgrimage circuit, and the global sangha, anchored at Lumbini and built for the next 2,600 years.

Mission

A note from the founder.

The instinct behind this project — peace, harmony, unity — is not separate from the commercial design. It is the commercial design.

The world in 2026 has the largest unsated demand for moral coherence in three generations. The Christian audience has Hallow and Pray.com and YouVersion. The Hindu audience has Sri Mandir. The Muslim audience has Quran apps in dozens. The Buddhist audience — 324 million by Pew's count, perhaps 1.6 billion by cultural-affiliation measure — has nothing of comparable scale.

What we are designing is not a vanity project. It is the infrastructure by which the Buddha's teachings reach the next two generations. It is the digital sangha for the era of artificial intelligence. It is the canonical answer to the question of how a contemplative tradition survives and grows in an attention economy designed to fragment and accelerate.

Done well, it generates the financial returns of a generational technology company while producing the social returns of a global peace institution. Done well, it is one of the few things being built in the world today that future generations will look at and say: that mattered.

You have the assets. You have the access. You have the team. You have the timing.

What remains is the work. Begin.

The Architecture

Four pillars. One ecosystem.

01 · The Studio

The storytelling engine.

Animated, live, documentary, shorts. The Buddha series is the flagship. Every sacred site has its story. Every great disciple has a series. Every Jataka tale becomes a film. Content forever.

Sample content
  • The Promised One — flagship 10-episode series
  • The Great Disciples — anthology
  • The Jataka — 550 past lives
  • Circuit Stories — one per sacred site
02 · The Circuit

The physical pilgrimage architecture.

Lumbini, Ramagrama, Tilaurakot, Kapilavastu, Devadaha — the Nepal core. Bodh Gaya, Sarnath, Rajgir, Nalanda, Vaishali, Kushinagar, Sravasti — the India arc. Sri Lanka, Thailand, Myanmar, Bhutan, Tibet, Japan, Korea — the extended Asia spine. Each site told as a chapter. Each chapter sold as an experience.

Sample content
  • Tier 1 · Day Pilgrim — $20–$50
  • Tier 3 · The Path — $500–$2,000
  • Tier 4 · Live a Life — $2,000–$5,000
  • Tier 6 · The Sacred Journey — $50K–$250K
03 · The Commerce

The Douyin-pattern engine.

Story creates desire. Desire converts in-stream. Product is sourced from the very monastery, the very artisan, the very site featured in the story. Every purchase deepens the journey.

Sample content
  • Bodhi-seed mala from Lumbini
  • Ramagrama stupa miniature, numbered to 108
  • Lumbini-in-a-Box experience kit
  • Hand-painted Bhutanese thangkas
04 · The Sangha

The retention layer.

Subscribers become pilgrims. Pilgrims become members. Members become donors. Donors become evangelists. The flywheel that compounds for thirty years.

Sample content
  • Open — free, daily verse + community
  • Member — $7.99/mo, full library
  • Pilgrim Circle — $299/yr, personal teacher
  • Eight monastery channels at launch
Only Once

First-mover claims the canonical seat.

First-mover wins canonical-authority categories. Hallow for Catholics. Sri Mandir for Hindus. YouVersion for the Bible. Once a faith category has its venture-scale champion, the second entrant fights for scraps. Buddhism has no such champion. The seat is open for one founder. After it is filled, it is filled for a generation.

Only Here

Lumbini is the only Lumbini.

Lumbini is the UNESCO-inscribed birthplace of the Buddha. Bodhi TV is the only daily live broadcast from a Buddhist holy site on earth. Ramagrama is the only undisturbed original Buddha relic stupa in existence. The Greater Lumbini Estate is the only 600-villa development adjacent to the UNESCO sacred zone. The Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality has an MoU framework with TPG. No other founder anywhere holds this combination of assets.

Only Now

AI economics collapsed the cost curve.

AI video production cost has collapsed from $600K–$2M per premium episode to $40K–$45K, a 50–100× compression. Faith-tech multiples have been validated by Hallow at $300–400M against $33M revenue and Sri Mandir at $175M against $12M ARR. The World Bank approved $85M for the Greater Lumbini Area Development project on 13 March 2026. UN Day of Vesak 2026 lands in Beijing in two weeks. Wait twelve months and the window narrows. Wait thirty-six months and someone else fills the seat.

The Operating Principle

The Sacred Test.

Every decision passes through one test before it is taken: would a senior monastic from a tradition we have not yet engaged endorse this if she saw it for the first time? If the answer is 'she would object on doctrinal grounds,' we revise. If the answer is 'she would approve and want to know more,' we proceed. The sacred test is the operating principle.

The Flywheel

The flywheel in motion.

  1. 01A pilgrim watches Buddha Series Season I, Episode 1 — Birth in the Sacred Garden.
  2. 02She is moved. She tells two friends. They watch. They subscribe.
  3. 03At episode 5, she buys a Lumbini-in-a-Box from the in-app commerce surface.
  4. 04She receives the box. She begins a 21-day meditation practice using the included audio.
  5. 05She joins the Pilgrim Circle.
  6. 06She books a Tier 3 — The Path package at Lumbini for the next Buddha Jayanti.
  7. 07At Lumbini, she stays at Greater Lumbini Estate, walks the Sacred Garden, attends chanting at the Royal Thai Monastery, films a 60-second testimonial.
  8. 08TPS uses her testimonial as marketing for the next year's Tier 3 program. Five hundred new people book.
  9. 09She becomes a Pilgrim Circle annual member. She donates monthly to the Peace Grove Nunnery via the app.
  10. 10She returns three years later for Tier 5 — The Great Circuit. She brings her father.
  11. 11Lifetime value per pilgrim: $3,000–$15,000+ across a decade.
  12. 12At one million such pilgrims by Year 5, the flywheel is unstoppable.

What remains
is the work. Begin.
