Accessibility.

The dharma was taught aloud, to anyone who came. A platform that carries it should not turn people away at the door because of how they see, hear, move, or read.

We hold ourselves to WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the standard, and treat any failure against it as a defect rather than an enhancement request.

Every interactive control is reachable by keyboard, and focus is drawn with a visible ring that survives our own styling. Colour is never the only carrier of meaning. Body text sits at or above 4.5:1 contrast against the canvas, and interface labels above 3:1.

Motion — the drifting hero artwork, scroll reveals, the breathing live indicator — is disabled wholesale for anyone whose system requests reduced motion. Images carry descriptive alternative text. Video embeds are set to load without third-party cookies until played.

We would rather name these than let you discover them. Captions are not yet present on the full archive: newer teachings carry them, older restored footage largely does not, and we are working through the backlog. Some archival photography carries alternative text that describes the subject only in general terms. A small number of dense data tables are still difficult to navigate with a screen reader.

This list is honest as of the date below, and it will change as we fix things.
