Webu Sayadaw was a deeply revered Burmese forest monk widely regarded as an arahant by his contemporaries. Sayagyi U Ba Khin held him in particular esteem, and Webu Sayadaw's simple anapanasati instruction has been preserved in the volume The Way to Ultimate Calm.
