Ramana Maharshi

Ramana Maharshi is one of the most luminous sages of modern India. At sixteen he had a spontaneous death experience that revealed the Self as the sole reality. He spent the rest of his life on the sacred hill of Arunachala, teaching Self-enquiry through the simple, relentless question "Who am I?" His teaching cuts across Hindu, Buddhist, and non-dual lines, and his presence drew seekers from East and West until his death in 1950.
