Qiu Chuji, the youngest of Wang Chongyang's seven perfected disciples, is revered as the founder of the Longmen (Dragon Gate) lineage, the largest surviving branch of Quanzhen Taoism. His legendary journey to meet Genghis Khan — recounted in the Travels of Changchun — is said to have persuaded the Khan to temper Mongol violence. His writings on internal alchemy and monastic discipline remain foundational.
