Master Yin Kuang is reckoned the 13th Patriarch of the Chinese Pure Land school and the most influential Pure Land teacher of the late-Qing and Republican eras. His letters and dharma talks (collected in the Letters of Yin Kuang) form the foundational modern Chinese Pure Land doctrinal corpus.
