Lama Tsultrim Allione

Lama Tsultrim Allione is one of the first Western women ordained in the Tibetan tradition (1970, by HH the 16th Karmapa) and is internationally known for her work in adapting the Chöd practice of Machig Labdrön into the Feeding Your Demons method. She returned vows in 1973 to raise her family and was later recognised as an emanation of Machig Labdrön by Namkhai Nyingpo Rinpoche. She founded Tara Mandala retreat centre in Colorado in 1993.
