Khenpo Tsültrim Gyamtso Rinpoche was one of the foremost living Madhyamaka and Mahamudra masters of his generation and a peerless yogic singer of dohas (songs of realisation). After serving as a wandering yogi in Bhutan and Tibet, he became a senior teacher at Rumtek under HH the 16th Karmapa and trained two generations of Western Buddhist translators through the Marpa Institute. He passed away on 22 June 2024 at Tek Chok Ling Nunnery in Boudhanath at the age of 90.
