Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche

Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche was a senior Nyingma scholar and meditation master, holder of the Riwoche tradition, and the elder of the two Khenpo brothers (with Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal) who jointly founded Padma Samye Ling. He served as senior professor and head of the philosophy department at the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies in Sarnath for seventeen years, anchoring his teaching presence to the site of the Buddha's First Sermon.
