Fools Crow was a Lakota Ceremonial Chief, healer, and nephew of Black Elk. He was a leading figure in the Native American Church and a defender of Lakota ceremonial rights. His teachings, recorded in Fools Crow: Wisdom and Power, emphasize purity of intention, the power of ceremony, and the responsibility to serve the people through prayer and healing.
