Father Thomas Keating was a Trappist monk and the principal architect of the Centering Prayer revival of Christian contemplative practice. He was also one of the great pioneers of contemplative inter-religious dialogue: his Snowmass Inter-Religious Conferences brought together Buddhist masters, Hindu swamis, Sufis, Jewish contemplatives, and Christian monastics for thirty-five years of sustained dialogue. The Snowmass archives are uniquely relevant for The Promised Studios' Lumbini contemplative-humanity framing.
