Daehaeng Kun Sunim was a rare female Korean Seon master who founded the Hanmaum Seonwon network and developed a distinctive teaching of Juingong ("the true master within") accessible to lay practitioners. She built fifteen branch temples in Korea and ten internationally, making the Korean Seon path uniquely available to working laypeople.
