Anandamayi Ma

Anandamayi Ma was a Bengali mystic revered as a living embodiment of the divine Mother. From early childhood she displayed extraordinary spiritual states, and throughout her life she travelled, taught, and sang across the Indian subcontinent. She refused to be confined to a single lineage, answering all questions from the standpoint of direct realization, and ashrams dedicated to her continue in India and the West.
