Adyashanti is a Western non-dual teacher with deep Zen roots through fourteen years of training under Arvis Joen Justi, who in turn was ordained in the Taizan Maezumi lineage. His teaching combines a Zen formal foundation with a stripped-down, direct non-dual emphasis on awakening as the recognition of one's own nature. He is widely respected as one of the cleanest records in the Western non-dual field.
