Spent Saturday at the Zen Center pulling weeds in the garden. Did not meditate formally. The weeding was enough. The Zen Master walked by, said nothing, did not even look. That was also enough.

Sat 30 minutes before work. The workday did not improve, exactly. But I noticed three small kindnesses I would otherwise have missed. The sitting widened the day.
