Greed, hatred, delusion. The Buddha named the inner machinery 2,600 years ago. The same machinery now runs our markets, our feeds, our politics. The dharma is not for our cushion. It is for the world.

Money and the dharma

The Buddha did not refuse money. He refused attachment to it. The distinction is everything. Lay practice in the 21st century is mostly about this distinction. We will not opt out of money. We must learn how to hold it without being held by it.

The dharma does not pretend sexuality is not there. It asks: does this action come from clarity or from craving? The third precept is not a rulebook. It is a mirror. Use it without shame, but use it.
