Here he rejoices, hereafter he rejoices. In both worlds the well-doer rejoices. He rejoices thinking "I have done good." Further, he rejoices, having gone to a state of bliss.

The verse closes the pair on remorse and rejoicing. Note the small honesty of the line "I have done good" — the Buddha does not strip the practitioner of self-recognition. There is permission here to know what one has done well, and to feel the corresponding gladness. The teaching is not about extinguishing pride; it is about earning the kind of self-recognition that does not require defense.
